Welcome to GPS!
My name is Simon and I’m the Subcamp leader. In my spare time I’m also the Scout Leader for 3rd and 4th Norwich in the Northern Norwich Scout District. I’ve attended many Norjams, helping on Subcamps and on Site Services and I’ve attended other Jamborees in the country with my Troop.
GPS consists of a very enthusiastic team who all have wide Scouting and Guiding experience from all over the UK and their primary concern will be to ensure you have a fantastic time and get the most out of the Jamboree experience.
So what can you expect from GPS? Well, taken from the theme of ‘The Modern World’ – GPS stands for Global Positioning System – you can expect games and activities based on the GPS and satellite theme to keep you occupied. There will also be play areas, competitions and shows to entertain ourselves and our guests. The most important thing is we’re going to have fun!
